Beautiful Zin all around. I find it a bit earthy but absolutely stunning. Wow, when I think “Zin” this is the taste, and I got it on sale for only $35! Like the updated logo/label. On the nose; beautiful red, fresh, florals, sweet dark currants, blackberries, black raspberries, baking spices & perfume florals. The mouthfeel is ripe, rich and juicy. Drier powdery tannin structure, anise, black licorice, ripe; blackberries, creamy black raspberries, black cherries, black plum, nice amount of baking spices, grippy volcanic minerals, soft leather, loamy soils, tree bark, mouthwatering acidity and long, rich, ripe fruit driven finish with just a touch of dry powdery tannins on the long set. — 9 years ago

2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 10 years ago

Double Blind, hit this as 09/10 Peter Michael Belle Cote. These chards gave a distinctive acidic grapefruit twist to them that's very noticeable. Great nose of buttered popcorn after it opened up. Very nice. — 9 years ago

Definitely needs to open up. Was sweet on the first sip. Significant fruit tones at the outset and got dry as it opened. I would give it a good half hour and drink and enjoy. Solid choice. — 10 years ago
