Better than previous bottle and certainly interesting and thought provoking, but just not one of my favorites from SP.

Overwhelming VA, which keeps this from being skin-contact-cool or sherry-like in a good way. Some reviews (which gave this high scores) said that this needs air, but several hours later that does not seem to be the case. I'll cross my fingers and try again tomorrow. I'm a fan of Abe's experiments, but this one isn't my favorite.

I usually enjoy the Jura-esque qualities of this bottling, but not as fresh or compelling as the 2010 or 2015. Perhaps the vintage, but a bit too much bruised apple in this one.

Green apple and vanilla, a very slight touch of sweetness like orange blossom nectar. Medium bodied, a bit of acid at the finish.

Aroma of fresh straw. Palette is a very pleasant tart grape. Great on a hot evening or hell, even a cold one. Super interesting and unique.

Wow, this is a wine to ponder. Is it too much with its oxidized nature? Or, is it an amazingly tantalizing, earthy, mouthcoating orange wine? I kept going back to the glass, so the answer should speak for itself. This is a powerful wine with an amazingly long finish. It's not for the casual drinker looking for a Pinot Grigio. Pair this with strong flavored foods--cheeses, white Mexican sauces, vegetarian dishes, roasted white meats, lechon asado. This is a wine for passion.
