Stunning. Just added this to the machine at West Indies Wine Company. — 11 years ago
This is holy grail wine. Not the face of God but as close as you can get without losing your countenance like the Nazi in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Best enjoyed with champagne, thoughtful company and adequate silence. — 11 years ago
Great diner in great company always comes with great wine ... And a Grd Cru Classé de St Emilion 2009 is never a bad option !! — 11 years ago

#wine Eric Rodez Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs #Champagne (Ambonnay): Sprightly and sophisticated. Fresh & dried red fruit on the nose; beautifully balanced (100% Pinot Noir across 5 to 6 vintages in 70% small barrels/no malolactic: bright, neither tart nor heavy cream on the palate - Goldilocks 'just right'). 12.0% abv. Shared on Easter Monday in good company, inclusive of Carthusian wine cellar chair, emeritus;). Thank you, Sophie x — 10 years ago
What a treat. From the company to the antics of the cork removal, all was fantastic. Not surprised with some immediate mustiness on the nose, giving way to a rich but smooth aged blue cheese, mushrooms, soy sauce, earth, and just a faint hint of dried red fruit. Over the next 20 minutes the glass development was out of control, changing with each and every whiff and sip. Earthy umami, oxidative, and and slightly stewed reds to begin quickly opened to nice dried strawberries on the palate and nose, and advancing to moderately subdued ripened strawberries and cranberries- after 61 years and still kickin with fruit! Amazing. Then after about 20 minutes of rapid metamorphosis, it gave in and decided to fade to a very pleasant sipper...awesome. — 11 years ago

A small company they make 40,000 bottles and the winery is named after the son and daughter this is all from the 2009 harvest and spends 3 years on the lees. Has lots if trees fruits from cremant and avise. Very creamy and rich with only. 3 hectares of vines. Lovely texture creamy with notes if white flowers and a nice touch of ginger spice. Less than 10,000 bottles. Excellent — 11 years ago
