Marionberry, earth, med body, fine tannin — 7 years ago
A pretty wine. Good intensity to the marionberry and cherry fruit, with interesting loamy undertones. Finishes a bit spicy. — 8 years ago
Rose, cranberry, marionberry; very aromatic. Med - body, high acid. Better with a slight chill and with food. Engaging, cerebral wine. — 9 years ago
2016. Not sure it a reserve. Just a Murto. Amazing. Such a contrast from the 2018 Belle Pente WV I had a couple of nights ago. This embodies virtually everything I live about warm weather Oregon Pinot. Very fruit forward. Almost no tannin. Fair complexity - strawberry, marionberry. A bit of brininess on the finish. — 5 years ago
A fresh version of the grape. On the nose, chanterelle-tinged cherry and raspberry fruit. The palate is decidedly brighter, with cherry and marionberry fruit accented by a hint of spicy oak. — 8 years ago
Raspberry, lavender, unruled marionberry, subtle spice. — 8 years ago
Berry cider, delicious - get again! — 9 years ago
Marionberry and lite black pepper. Delicious! — 5 years ago
Talk about an easy drinking wine that goes with everything! Can also be layed down for a number of years to allow for some additional complexity to shine through. Notes of marionberry, baking spices and carmelized sugar. Never disappoints. — 6 years ago
Drinking great. The dollops Carignan, Alicante Bouchet, and Petite Syrah really work well here, adding color, flesh, and extra dimension from a tannin and length perspective. The wine is wholesome, inviting with its lush black and marionberry pie aromas, there’s an ample dose of smoke and licorice there too. Its very alluring but the palate really shows the balance, yes deeply fruited with a sort of toasty pie crust element, but the focused acidity and tannic grip really hone it all in. It departs spiced and mineral if you will. — 6 years ago
Marionberry, chocolate and Blueberry jam nose. Smoked Sokeye salmon, peppercorn, abv @ 15% noticeable but not completely distracting. — 8 years ago
Sylvia Esmonin's 06 Gevry Chambertin- young as ever, tannins softened, but the wine itself doesn't show many signs of age. Bold dark boysenberry or Marionberry is indicative of her late picks that have somewhat of a cola type finish. — 8 years ago
Cranberry, cherry, marionberry, mineral, sous bois. Med body, med + acid, but ripe fruit and not at all austere. Something for both CA Pinot and Burgundy fans. — 9 years ago

I challenge you to find a better, more complete Pinot for $25 or less. It takes a moment or two, but this wine comes together nicely. High-toned, red fruit driven (sour cherry, red currant, red plum, cranberry, pomegranate, raspberry) with a touch of oak (vanilla, cinnamon, cloves) as well as some darker berries (huckleberry/marionberry), star anise, orange zest, rose petal, mushroom and red earth (maybe it’s the power of suggestion, but I can taste the volcanic Jory soils in here🤷🏻♀️). It’s unusual to find fruit this tart and fresh with the recent warmer vintages in the W valley, so this was a pleasant surprise. Subtle and satisfying. — 4 years ago
