Threw a few of these in the cellar just to see what would happen. Finally coming into its own in Hour 2. Dark blue black fruits, nice acidity, balanced. Really nice. Great for Sunday pasta and red sauce. — 3 years ago
Dark glass-clinging garnet purple. Blueberry, black raspberry, and leather on the abundant nose and full-bodied, rustic palate. Fine medium plus tannins and high juicy acidity round out this classically Old World red from S Italy. Pizza Margherita is a natural, of course, but Osso Bucco, tomato heavy beef dishes, and Mediterranean fare (maybe even Cassoulet?) will shine as well. Drink now through 2026 or so. — 4 years ago
Fairly light bodied Chianti, very smooth tannins. Savory, balsamic, leather and cigar box, long dry finish. Pleasant! Balsamic comes through and through. — 6 years ago
Loved this. It wasn't sweet or tart. Nice to sip and enjoy for a celebratory glass... Or two. — 7 years ago
Pale yellow hue. Aromas and flavors of apple, coconut, cream, melon, and peach. Med body and med acidity. Personally preferred over Santa Margherita. — 4 years ago
Bellísimo! Eucalyptus gave way to lavender and cocoa. Tightly wound cherry with long tannic finish. Had with frito misto, gnocchi pomodoro, margherita pizza and herb rack of lamb at Casa di Don Alfonso. First indoor meal in >1 year. Was like riding a bike. — 4 years ago
Delicious paired with chicken ragú lasagna made with marsalla. Plumb, herbs, fresh at pallate. Berries. — 5 years ago
Fruitier than most dry Proseccos with hints of bergamot & other florals. — 7 years ago

Medium ruby color.
Aromas of red fruit, spice, vanilla.
Dry. Flavors of baked raspberry, spice, hint of herbal.
Fresh and zesty. Moderate tannins are firm.

MUY Simpatico. 13 blend of mostly CS and CF. Delicious. This was our Brasswood BYOB and paired ridiculously well with their Margherita Pizza. Well....it paired well with the entire night, so I guess the wine is properly named?? Floral nose, red cherry entry, black cherry finish. Peppery, a little tannic, a little herbal. LOVE this William Harrison blend. — 7 years ago

Clean and lean. Not the most exciting Italian white but this was a solid example. — 2 years ago
