Loved this! Great paring with foie gras at Eleven Madison Park. Had 16 year old cognac in it too — 8 years ago

Still a great wine! Great with Foie Gras! — 11 years ago
2009. Nutty & high acid - even somewhat volatile. Perfection with that black truffle/foie gras chicken pot pie hiding back there. #getgoutorgetout — 12 years ago
1983 - vin de Sauternes exceptionnel, grand plaisir avec un très bon foie gras de canard. Tout en douceur et rondeur. — 9 years ago
I'm not well versed in Sauternes so I don't how to really appreciate it but sure did go well with that foi gras! — 10 years ago

This late harvest wine was tasted with home made foie gras during Xmas diner. Was very much appreciated by all frinkers, light sugar, delicate tastes of fruits. — 8 years ago
Wow- this bottle is a lot fresher than the one we drank a year ago. The Robert Fleury is a barrel fermented blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Blanc and 20% Chardonnay. Earthy dark fruit, Krug like barrel influence and savor are balanced by 2004 snap. With foie gras, pour le dimanche! — 9 years ago
Vending Tardive. One can make a case that in Alsace, where it is considered a Grand Cru-eligible grape, muscat gets more respect than in any other wine region. In this wine you can certainly taste why it deserves grand Cru status - perfect balance, great depth, subtle flavors and a level of sweetness that supports rather than overwhelms the fruit. Lovely rosé petal and honey notes With a refined Thai or Indian curry this will be exception, and with seared foie Gras? Off the chart. It deserves another couple of years in bottle but it will be hard to wait that long — 9 years ago
Fresh from the domaine. Made fast friends with a huge hunk of foie gras. Plenty of life left. — 10 years ago
What a surprise... A late harvest Pinot Gris in Loire! You get these peachy, apricot notes along with honey, waxy flavors. Very fruity, very lovely. Great on foie gras — 10 years ago
