Smoky minerals, black cherry, orange peel, violets, spice cake, licorice- just a few notes. There’s a lot going on here and it’s intensely satisfying. Grainy tannins, very lengthy finish. Just a superb young Morgon with effortless style and composure whose best years are still well ahead. — 7 years ago

Benchmark producer of Pouilly-Fume for me. The 2010 was a bit more polished, and the 2011 a bit more feral. I love both sides of SB. — 11 years ago

Unique barnyardy aroma. Hibiscus. Super drinkable; especially in the humidity. Almost like a wild ale. Can’t wait to pick up another bottle. — 5 years ago

Although 2013 and very very young consuming at a restaurant we got to enjoy it a lot more as the time passed and it was decanted. This will be a beauty - shame but still lovely! — 12 years ago

Exceptional. Top 5 across all Bojo and tops of a great lineup from Burgaud. — 5 years ago
Straw bright yellow. Crisp pear and yellow fruit then honeysuckle with an almost grapefruit like end. Surprising complexity and definitely clean. This acidity was off the charts good. Huge crowd pleaser and it just became my go-to non-beach white. Great before dinner and great w the Thai we made. — 7 years ago

17.5. 1991. Still youthful, some brown at the edges, but core ruby. All tannins resolved, plenty of fruit, M+ length. Delicious. — 8 years ago
A bit rustic on its own but delicious with food. — 9 years ago

This Chablis paired perfectly with Mac & cheese made with sharp cheddar and Gruyère. The nose is so fragrant and the palette is crisp with notes of green apple. A great Chablis choice. — 5 years ago
