One of three offerings from Mad Fritz last night @ NVWTG. Not usually a stout fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this well balanced brew. Wish I had snapped pics of the others! Great beer with a great story. Serious craftsmanship at work. — 9 years ago

Light, fresh, bright, and gently spritzy. Delicately fruity nose with a bit of chalk and flint, and hella acid. Really delicious. — 8 years ago
On a roll with the last few vintages, 2002, 2004 and now the 2006 (have not tried 2005), the 2006 is the latest release and man it is good! One of the few hyped wines in the wine world that to me actually matches the hype. Powerful and generous, this is drinking so good now but will go the distance is you can manage to hold onto it for long enough. — 9 years ago
Black cherries, plums and a bit of sweet fruit combined with rich soft tannins made this a group fave. — 10 years ago
