First glass was toeing the line with VA then it settled down nicely. bone dry, high acid, extreme minerality with typical complex chenin markers: lime, apples, honey. Really delicious but this needs an hour or two of aeration minimum. These wines take forever in the cellar. 2018 just entering drinkability. This was interesting. Reminded me of flat champagne that saw oak. It is also brioche heavy, toasted almonds, lemon cream, and towards the end some light red fruits. Wish I had it with food. Very interesting. — 3 years ago
