Best Chardonnay I’ve had in a long time. Not too oaky. — 6 years ago

Light straw in color with a golden tint.
Aromatic nose of lemons, red apples, light diesel, white flowers, grass, minerals and wet stones.
Medium-bodied, crisp, refreshing and engaging, with medium plus acidity and thin legs.
Off-dry on the palate with lemons, red apples, melons, pears, minerals, rocks and light herbs.
A nice long finish with tangy limes.
This German Riesling based blend, is refreshing and Well-balanced, with great acidity for the ample fruit. It shows no bitterness nor tartness at all , just wonderful.
Good as a sipping wine to have by the pool or the beach, but also goes great with Thai food, seafood or spicy food.

This is beautiful! Such a food friendly wine with berries galore and nice herbal tea like notes. Consistently one of the best stateside dolcetto wines available. Could also stand another 5-10 years of age as well. — 6 years ago
Very fruity a fragrant. Not too sweet. As good as cataldi Madonna — 7 years ago
Very fruit forward with black cherry & some blueberry, a touch of sundries tomatoes and well integrated wood (used French large tonneaux). Nice balance and polished tannins, the 2015 is highly drinkable — 8 years ago

Perfect with fava beams and pecorino cheese. — 9 years ago
Hard poured this inky octopus to a pattern-bald, latte-afro pate with dancing nematode swirls in space riffs. Sticky cellulite ‘lacing’ painting the glass with stain-stars. Black. Burnt baklava aromas, maple char, black chocolates with windowsill mint, malty dark caramel, baked aromas. Coffee and resinous chocolate, baked maple syrup, poppy torts, rye bread with dark caramel, baked chocolate with ganache for a sleepover, Thai coffee reduction, treacle, a sweet black pepper and sassafras and dark rum sprouting fresh vanilla bean. Intensely variegated, layered, concentrated. The Dagwood of imperial stouts. Piled 6 feet high, enjoy with a friend, horizontally. .

So far so good. Just opened and letting it sit. Dark fruit with some mint and cedar. Fairly acidic and tannic at first. One hour in fantastic marzipan turning to tar and camphor. Day two still tarry nose and fairly acidic mouthfeel. Happy to let it sit. — 7 years ago
Great appetizer/cocktail hour opening wine. We like it so much more after meeting and visiting with Benedetta at the winery in Montalcino. — 8 years ago
Full bodied, slightly softened tannins for an Aglianico. — 9 years ago
