First wine for ‘ National Drink Wine Day’! Aged white. Has a golden, straw color. Like a shiny wedding ring. Smells of honey and lemons. Just a hint of rain soaked concrete. Flavors are unique. Citrus buried under a bit of mellow Gouda cheese. Or maybe havarti. Get slight lemon peel in it. Has plenty to offer even with 8 years of aging. Elegant and ‘fancy’ feeling. Very balanced. Zippy, but just slightly ‘buttery’ or creamy. This is great white wine. — 7 months ago

An unsuspectingly forward Riesling with a watery pale hay color and shy aromas of orchard fruits, bitter apple seed, and slate. The flavors take a sharp u-turn - fully expressive with off dry but not honeyed notes of red apple and roasted lemon. It finishes cleanly with slate and wet rocks. Really excellent. — 7 years ago
