Notes of almond and Lillet Blanc. Oxidative in style. Definitely needs food. It grew on me. — 7 years ago
In cocktail terms, think gin and Lillet Blanc. — 12 years ago
It’s like a Lillet! yummy floral white — 7 years ago
A superior replacement for vermouth in a Gin Martini. I’m not a big fan of extra dry Martini but Vermouth can easily overwhelm the Gin. It’s not as fruity and sweet as Lillet Blanc but it’s not as savoury as dry Vermouth. 3 parts Plymouth to 1 Jardesca makes a really good Martini. — 7 years ago
Perhaps the best infused Gin for cocktails. Add Lillet and lemon peel for a Vesper or simply add good tonic water. You could even enjoy it on the rocks with a slice of orange. — 9 years ago
Decelle villa Mersault 2013.
Strong sense of oak, butter, cream. Very weak fruit aroma but hint of golden apricot on the nose. Med p body, med p acid, med p intensity, round, long, complex finish with lime, hint of butter and structure finish. Drunk with escargot, lillet. Structured, food wine. Need roasted chicken with mashed potato. — 9 years ago
Wow! Great herb sents, flavor. Amazing. Better than white lillet — 10 years ago
Nice and sweet... Now I need dessert — 12 years ago
Move over Cocchi and Lillet! This is perhaps the best quinquina vermouth I’ve had. It’s a good aperitif when served up or chilled, but the extra cardamom kick makes it a great cocktail ingredient. It makes a really good Vesper, but try it on a Bijou:
- 1.5oz navy strength gin (I used Krobar from Paso Robles, but Plymouth or Hayman’s should work great)
- 0.75 oz Green Chartreuse
- 0.75 oz ?! no. 73
- olives or cherries — 4 years ago

Read about Lillet, 375ml bottles, and this wine today. Did all 3 tonight and it was awesome! We need more 375ml bottles! The wine was classic French, with an earthy, rustic nose. Palate gets drenched with soil, tobacco, dark cherry, and mushrooms. The finish was insanely long to cap it all off! When things are meant to be they are meant to be!!! — 8 years ago
So easy to drink. Approachable citrus, mellow texture. Great for cocktails, especially with lillet. — 9 years ago
use this instead of Lillet in a Vesper. Have been told it is closer to the original more bitter notes of Lillet in the Fifties when Ian Fleming created the cocktail. Incredible addition to a classic cocktail. — 9 years ago
Beautiful light salmon in color. Orange peel, strawberry, and raspberry. Smells a bit like Lillet, but nice and dry on the finish. A fantastic rosé. — 10 years ago
Vesper martini, cuz we're not that drunk. Nolet's gin (Ketel One) is so key here, please tolerate my diva when I say I just don't drink these without Nolet's. 3 oz. Nolet's gin, 1 oz. Jewel of Russia Ultra vodka (this extravagance can be subbed for decent vodka), 0.5 oz. Lillet Blanc. Shaken, not stirred...the original James Bond martini. — 12 years ago
