Dark rose wish there was more left. Anthony Nappa. Beautiful winter rose with substance. LI merlot smell, petit verdot spice backdrop — 3 years ago
Fantastic new world chardonnay from LI. Reductive, new oak. Superb work. — 3 years ago
2 bottles in one day, 2 vintages, this stuff is consistently great — 8 months ago
Not sure why 1980's LI was planting Gewurzt, but I am grateful. Case in the cellar for the long haul. Balance, clean, refreshing. — 3 years ago
Tried for the first time. Jammy, not tannic, yet too much for pasta (tortellini—yes, I should’ve had a white); probably better with veal or pork. — 4 months ago
Oak, Woodsy, Dark Berries, Tawny color, very smooth and dry at the same time pairs well with lamb and dark chocolate caramels — 5 months ago
Soft delicate Thomas Spotteck touch. No green vegetables. Beautiful LI cab franc representation. Can't wait for future vintages... — 3 years ago
So cool! Black cherry, mint/herbs, bittersweet smoky chocolate, med+ acidity, med body, tart finish. Glad I got to try this rarity! — 3 years ago

Did a bit of research on this wine since I was bringing it to an Apulia themed dinner at Anthony’s in HH. This grape was once nearly extinct and happily its back. There was a lot of black and red berries and some licorice. Nice finish and a structured wine. — 13 days ago
