Amazing albariño. Citrusy, bright, light, and refreshing. Drank with chickpea salad, broccoli, turkey meatball, naan.

Suave en boca. Al final un toque amrago. Ideal para acompañar carnes rojas. — 7 years ago
On the nose; black raspberries; raspberries, violets, hues of blue fruits, blackberries, dark cherries, nice soft vanilla, powdery minerals with lavender, violets and fresh red florals.
The body is full and the palate shows; sticky, round tannins, dark currants, black licorice, some salinity, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, black raspberries blue fruit hues, with strawberries haunting the longer fruit set, herbal vegetal quality, soft powdery minerals, good acidity and a nicely balance finish.

Enjoyed with Nat in DC. Turned out to be a nice wine. Strong fruit and berries. Nice. — 7 years ago
I gave this 15 or 20 minutes and then decided if I was going to drink wine tonight, then it wouldn't be this. 4 hours later and the nose is more Alto Moncayo than Alto Moncayo... Banana-Vanilla Creme Pie on steroids. Unfortunately it doesn't quite carry the weight of Alto on the palate, but at $12, is a comparison anything but unfair? This is shockingly good and a completely different wine than what I tasted 4 hours ago. — 8 years ago
A totally different rendition of Grenache than the Alto Moncayo.
Lovely fresh red fruits taking the lead over dark berry fruits. A vibrant palate gains a bit weight on the medium body over time, with vivid acidity. Smooth cinnamon filled lightly sweet tannins.
Should have tasted this before the Alto Moncayo. — 4 years ago

Feisty yet smooth - good paired with summer time tapas.

More elegance & beauty than the Estate.
On the nose; dark currants, strawberries, dark soils, black licorice and dark, fresh, perfumed florals.
On the palate; dark currants, candied fruits of; black cherries, blackberries, black raspberries and strawberries. Gummy fruits, black licorice, black raspberry cola, hint of black olive, nice easy tannins, crushed rock powder, leather, loamy soils, great acidity and a long, elegant, polished finish.

Clean, authentic, fresh and vibrant Chardonnay of Limarí Valley, 50% aged in used oak for 9 months.
Intense lemon color, straw glitters.
Charming bouquet of melon, biscuits, soaked apple, pineapple, peach, grass. Nutty nuances and white flowers. Minty whiff.
Palate is crisp, concentrated and textured. Medium+ body, distinctive minerality and pronounced acidity. Pomelo, white currant, rhubarb, green apple, pineapple flavors.
Tangy long lasting finish of green apple & lime, touched by sea minerals.
Perfectly suited seabass baked with herbs and olives. — 9 years ago
This is one of the best wines I've ever had, if not the best. I've visited El Legado, so maybe I have a bias here. But I'd recommend this wine to anyone. It has a powerfully complex taste that will keep you thinking about it long after you've finished the bottle. I drank this bottle one year after being in El Legado, and it was still perfect. — 5 years ago

Smooth Rum. Enjoyed it — 6 years ago
Beautiful clear & intense coloring of crushed mulberries. Med intensity on the nose of juicy, ripe black fruits along with hints of fresh dirt and bacon fat. Very smooth tannins. I was sad when the bottle was empty. Will purchase much more of this. — 7 years ago
On the nose; banana peel, white spring flowers, cut grass, slight cat pee & vegetal character, lemon custard & lime.
The palate is drier in style than the Estate. It’s also more elegant. Lemonhead candy, sour notes, green melon, guava, soft, delicate, minerality, sea spray, saline, beautiful acidy with a long, well rounded, elegant finish.

I love this wine. this is the last of 6 bottles I bought from the winery. it has evolved dramatically. it started out as a little bit funky but medium bodied super complex wine. it is evolving into a jammy fruit bomb ala Alto Moncayo. I think I best like the wine a year or two ago where the fruit was emerging but still had the complex notes I loved in the young wine. Bravo Mcprice Myers. — 9 years ago
