Glou glou but also polished. Not rough around the edges. Just a nice, fruit forward, easy drinking quaff. — 3 years ago

#1000th Review# One of my all time favorite, this can easily crush many Amarone. Very young, no signs of tertiary notes at all. Sweet and warm spices, raisin, sweet cherries, mocha, dark chocolate and bright acidity. Best on day 2, very smooth texture. 15% abv and it’s well balanced. Wish I have more in the cellar! — 4 years ago
So so good. This is an inspiration wine for me - I started making a wine as an homage to this style a couple of years ago. So happy I did. I love this expression of grenache - you get all of the fruit, with some nice earthiness but minimal tannins and just a lot of depth in what is inherently a “simple” wine. Love this bottling, love this producer. — 2 years ago

This wine has a burnished look, deep brown. The nose is a treat all on its own. There are aromas of brown sugar, coffee and orange zest which combine for an amazing olfactory experience. The palate is just as joyful, with caramel, raisin and mocha notes. The acidity is fresh and exhilarating. Although the wine is described on the label as “cream,” it does not strike me as creamy. The viscosity is nice, though. It will pair well with dessert, or serve as one by itself. — 3 months ago
