a perfect sip, a bit acidic on the finish, but no oak. — 8 months ago
Big bold dark fruits plums and blackberries up front. Bold but creamy. Undertones of chocolate and tannins. Long and lush. Layers and complex. — 3 years ago

Thanksgiving day three 11/25/17. Blind tasting vs Perrin and Guigal. Excellent wine with balance and earthiness. Long finish. — 7 years ago

Another Brown to love. — a year ago
Love this. Tons of flavour. Vanilla, brown sugar, toasted oak. Pairs well with food but also great on its own. — 5 years ago
Awesome!!! Great with and without food. — 6 years ago
Interesting profile: dried cherries, granny smith, cedar box, with a hint of a big red wine (AUS Shiraz, etc.). Not a lot of carbonation, would have liked to have opened a bottle a year ago to see what role aging has played (bottled 1/16/15). — 7 years ago
Grand Cru, Nashville. Loved it as always. — 5 months ago
Down the middle. Smooth but lacking any unique punch. Similar in price to Ridge Geyserville, I would buy the Ridge if made to choose — 3 years ago
A brilliant vintage for this wine. A top 5 Crozes. Easy. Spice, game, some funk, blueberry, black berry, black cherry, huge granite and even some wilted flowers. Young but tasty palate of dazzling granite and velvety tannins and engaging energy from the minerality. Terrific power, depth and concentration. Needs 5 years. So long and such beautifully defined fruit on the incredibly long finish. Really rich and dark. Awesome. Wait 5 years. As this opens the balance becomes superb. Almost a 9.4. I’ll be back. — 5 years ago
Mmm. . . The family picked this up at a tasting at our new favorite butcher shop. More on the sweet side for a pinot but still flavorful. Hmmm may have to check my Napster for an accompanying Zac Brown hit for ambience. — 6 years ago
Classic. Great character, good depth, clean finish — 7 years ago

Pale gold and brown hue. Aromas of caramel, creme brûlée, pineapple and orange pith.! Tropical fruits, dried apricots, burnt sugar and orange blossoms.
