Herbs, lime, minerality. — 9 years ago
A raisin-leaning nose. A depth so deep it escapes my ability to describe. An obvious pruniness but held in check by a dark beautiful depth so extreme it appears to be what's left of the grape after the grape is gone. — 10 years ago
Very good wine at the price. — 10 years ago
One of last bottles I bought in 2004 in Italy at winery. Absolutely gorgeous nose. Cherry, floral, Coca Cola. Still has lots of fruit smooth tannins and great length. Drinking window by professional stated through 2015. Has at least 5 years in my mind. — 11 years ago

Dad's fav! — 10 years ago
One of the better Cour-Cheverny wines I've tasted: a statement that says everything but also nothing. Less unpleasantly oxidative than Daridan, more interesting than de Montcy and Cazin and at much frendlier price than Henri Marionnet. For the money I think this is the best that's out there-- Golden apple skin, celery, tarragon. — 12 years ago

Had it in Lake Leelanau with Tom and Mary. — 13 years ago

So light yet so flavorful — 7 years ago
great value — 8 years ago
Pretty nose of yellow flowers, lemon peel, lime zest, peach, apricot, and thyme with a salty tang and medium acid on a medium bodied frame, with candied orange peel and herbs on the long finish

At the end of its life but of great historical interest. Fruit has been displaced but still interesting — 10 years ago
1997 vintage. Sori San Lorenzo. At Harry's Bar for Soprano's Dinner. Deep ruby hue. Quite reticent at first. Almond paste and deep blackberry fruit. Integrated ripe tannins. Tar and iris flowers. On the palate, high acidity, medium body, medium Alcohol and long finish. Excellent although still very youthful. drink now until 2036. — 10 years ago
Beautiful Barolo from small parcel on cannubi. Classic tar, rose petals, just starting to open up. Drink 2015-2025 — 11 years ago
this is super pinot — 12 years ago
An oddity for me, strange at first until a stink blew off. But what emerged was neat, very different, young Nebbiolo on steroids. — 12 years ago
