Nice one from Larry — 6 years ago
Excellent for 38 years old. Had it with the family and toasted Larry. — 7 years ago
Founded in 1993 by Larry Turley and makes thirty-four wines, the vast majority of which are single vineyard designate Zinfandels and Petite Syrahs. Juvenile is composed of a variety of young vines that have been replanted in several of their old vine sites. Dark red with aromas of lively fruits, floral and spice. On the palate, chery, strawberry and pepper spice flavors. Fine tannins, nice balance with lingering finish ending with a fruit character. — 8 years ago
Really impressed with everything I've tried from this new Larry Stone project. While the Avni Chard I feel is a tad bit more Burgundian, this beautifully bright appellation pinot was bursting with red fruit and showed great depth for it's level. My only knock on it is that it reminded me more of a Russian River pinot than one from Eola Amity. — 8 years ago
Had on flight home from Switzerland on Lufthansa. Larry thinks 8 and I think 9. Would like to get more. Flight attendant gave Larry a bottle. — 9 years ago
Simply an outstanding bottle!! The Larner Vineyard is managed exceptionally and Larry allows the fruit to showcase itself — 4 years ago

My favorite from Larry Stone's Lingua Franca - everything a really nice OR Pinot Noir should be. Cherry, strawberry, a touch of mineral/wet stone, light fig and date, lightest you h if floral . And (not in picture) a Dale Chihuly Studio label! 13.5 ABV. Just really nice, and the low alcohol makes it so smooth to drink. — 8 years ago

New project by MS Larry Stone. Elegant, restrained and exceptionally food-friendly, Burgundian-styled Chard. Good things to come from this winery in the future. — 8 years ago
Wow. As delectable as imagined. Very inviting to the nose of vanilla, golden baked apple and sweet baking spices on the nose. The pallet was very balanced between its use of oak, spark of acidity, and malo. The butter quality softened some of the acid, making it great alone, but in the end it went so well with creamy cheese, and even a blue cheese crumble on a green salad, with Harry & David Pears and walnuts and a light vinaigrette. Moone Tsai, you've done it again, thank you Larry and Marry-Ann Tsai, and Mr. Melka! — 9 years ago
Always like the Phelps Syrah. Big Phelps week for me. — 4 years ago
Got to pop some special bottles when my good friend Shawn came in to town!
My second bottle to pop of the evening. In my experience with PM, this seems to be the most elegant/finesse bottle I’ve had. Of guessing blind, I think I would have gone to burgundy. And it has sub 14 ABV! I always assume PM is ripe, rich and full bodied but this was restrained. On the nose it was very tropical showing stone fruits, mango, sugar crusted guava and ginger shavings. Reminiscent of Aubert’s Larry Hyde & Sons Chardonnay on the palate as the acidity is really energetic. Crushed limestone, powdered lemon bar and a cotton candy like sweetness toward the finish. No problem popping these now. — 6 years ago
I like it. Not sure if Larry does — 8 years ago
Today is my me and my wife's 1 year anniversary. No notes for this super awesome, special wine. It was Moone Tsai we drank at our wedding as a gift from Larry and MarryAnn Tsai, so it only seemed fitting to pull a Moone Tsai from the cellar and have a great 2012 to reminisce. Cheers to the rest of our lives. 😀🥂 — 8 years ago
Uniquely Margaret River with Burgundian elegance and WA richness of fruit and structure. One of Australia's best Chardonnays at the £30 price point. — 9 years ago
Bravo. Larry knows his stuff. — 9 years ago

Love the flavour. Could do with couple more years to develop just a slightly smoother finish on palette. — 4 years ago
