Drinking with friends in Laguna Beach with smoked Gouda cheese watching the late afternoon surfers.
Sweet but not overly so initial sensation followed by a velvet smooth Citrix's and floral finish. Fabulous taste with the cheese!

Raspberry, cherry, hint of cola. Very smooth and medium length finish. Excellent with my garlic, sage bone-in pork chops (with sides of scallops and sugar snap peas). Found by Duffy. Last few bottles of this vintage in OK. — 7 years ago
Heavy cherry and blackberry. The finish has a wonderful "leathery" quality — 8 years ago

This bottle was unreal and drinking beautifully at #selanne steak tavern in Laguna Beach. Dark fruit, tar, incredibly smooth tannins. Stunner. — 7 years ago

Oaky and buttery.... Lovely aromas.... Possibly a hint of peach or pineapple...something nutty... A wonderful experience for my taste buds. — 7 years ago
Lemon curd, quince, greenish apples, oak which pushed the acidity to the background. ...a delicious wine. Blind, for a half second Meaursault crossed my mind. Was stoked to find this at a restaurant in Laguna last yr being sold at retail price. Had to buy a 2nd to take home. Score! — 8 years ago
