Soft rounded acidity/minimal velvet tannin presence, full bodied, silly texture, long herbal, smoky, sour fruit finish. Highly aromatic, vibrant, softer expression of Brunello. Mature notes of a wine 3 times its age. Perfume jumped out the glass after 2 hours decanting.

2010 vintage. Brunello from Pitti Gola e Cantina in Florence. Next time you're in Florence you should definitely visit them. 3 young guys who are into Old School Italian wine. Their American wives from Laguna CA also work there. Tiny shop across from the Pitti Palace.
