Nose: Soil, must, alcohol, wet wood. Mouth: Complex, stone fruit, black cherry, dark chocolate. Pair with roasted lamb — 7 months ago
Great choice with a good steak. Starts off a bit dry but opens up nicely with some air. A bit musty with ripe cherries, and a hint of dark chocolate. — 3 years ago

Frutal, buen cuerpo y calidad/precio muy bien — 7 months ago
Pale yellow and bright colour with greenish hues.
Citrus and white fruits (green apple, pear) with floral and slightly herbal memories, very fine expression of the variety.
Very good balance, well-salted acidity, fresh, greedy and with a certain oiliness note.
Great balance of flavours where green apple and lemon, ripened greengage plum and white flowers are predominating. — 8 months ago
Might be a bit past its prime but still quite good. Light ruby color with a brick rim. Aromas and flavors of dark cherry, rose petals, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco and dried herbs. Smooth and dusty tannins. Brimming with acidity. Extremely complex, but maybe just a touch out of balance. Still a pleasure. Thank You John P. — 2 years ago

Alive and well with thick cherry fruit. No reason to keep longer though. — 5 years ago

Full boar. Bold and tannic. Wild — 9 months ago
This to me is what a white wine should be in my uninformed opinion. Soft, light, but very complex beneath the surface. Doesn’t go down like juice, but delicious & you can’t quite stop sippin. Parents anniversary :) — a year ago
17.5. Rich but not complex nose. Very full on palate, great fruit, sufficient acidity, no tannins. Quite delicious. — 3 years ago
I can smell the wind, the sun, the stone buildings of Spain in this well made of straightforward Rioja. This 2006 is just coming into it’s given that it may have been fruit forward in its early life. I prefer the crianza from this same wine maker, the reserva goes down enjoyably easy. — 4 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 86% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, 4% Mazuelo (Cariñena) and 2% Garnacha, grapes and various plots fermented separately, aged for 20 months in American oak, then blended. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and oaky notes. Fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity ending with fruit, sweet oak and spice. Nice! ‘17 a bit better! — 4 months ago
