Lots of texture, nice and pretty, dry but fruity. — 9 years ago
Light color, light tannins, crisp acidity, and bone dry. Great flavor and quite quaffable. Taste is acidic but in a good balanced way. I get the usual suspects for Italian here floral on the nose and sour cherry and under ripe berries on the pallet. Very nice inexpensive Italian table wine. Cheers. — 10 years ago

Last vintage from Bressler, grapes going to Anomaly vineyards now. Was on the customer list at the start for a few years and still have 01 and 02 (popped an 02 a year ago and it was great) in the cellar. Grabbed some 2014s at a great price. For Napa, Bressler was always worth seeking...premium valley floor fruit, Mia Klein winemaker, and under $100 release price.
1 hour decant (little sediment). A splended inky dark magenta color. On the nose: floral, sandlewood, black cherry and plum, cedar, vanilla marshmallows. Taste: Elegant and smooth, soft tannins with blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, with a spicy cedar medium plus finish....ready to go another 15 years. — 6 years ago

Another amazing blend from Mr Akiyoshi, this is one which should be saved for cocktail time. It is on the thicker side of medium bodied, with balanced acidity and lots of red currant and cherry fruit. — 7 years ago
Soft upfront with mild dark fruit. But builds to a dry dry tannin middle that lingers with a pow of dryness. — 9 years ago
When in Rome (as they say) 75% Cab Franc, 25% Merlot. This needs air or you'll think it uninspiring (was best the next day). Violets and slight French oak nose. Smooth, clean blue fruits with tannins up front fading at mid palate. Med/short finish. Solid wine. — 9 years ago
Sweet and yummy! — 10 years ago
