My type of wine, herby soft and velvety — 7 years ago
Aloha Champagne Fridays (this is the inaugural occasion). This is superb for around $20. The label lets your know this is dry all the way. 100% Chardonnay. Yellow apples and light caramel notes. Friends who take my reviews seriously (should proceed with caution) might prefer the Grüner Brut (Szigeti from Austria) from a little while back at this price point. But this is darn good. — 7 years ago

The Wagner family struck gold with this beautiful, buttery Chardonnay. Light acidity welcomed with an explosion of ripe papaya, toasted banana and lemon grass. Very interesting take on a delightful Chardonnay. Fresh, exotic, and rich. — 8 years ago
After the fab 09 Sass does this @ £137 stack up? Oh yeah 😍 blind I'd say this was top Bordeaux 👍

Tried a sample at a wine tasting bar in store. Very pleasant - not aged in oak which I prefer. — 6 years ago
Nice blend (48 CS, 41 Mer, 11 CF). Opened it a little cold but it got much better as it warmed up. This wine has really mellowed out. The fruit still comes through and the pepper from the Cab has softened. This is a very nice wine. — 8 years ago

This shit was DELICIOUS. Drank it with some pasta primavera and then high fived myself. — 6 years ago
Mer koncentrerad än 15. Något sötare mer mogen frukt. Aprikosen är omissbar. Kanske ett årgång för källaren mer än 14? — 7 years ago
Should always be on ice. — 7 years ago
2006, men fick av oklara anledningar inte områdesklassas. Lite oxiderad doft. Dill, gräddfil, trä, mörk frukt. Mer balanserad i smaken med fattoner och integrerade chokladiga tanniner. — 8 years ago
Fruit driven with seducing upper palate acidity and gulpy mouth watering tension. Natural and pure. Holds oxidation for around one hour - be aware. — 8 years ago
My favourite St Julien in great year @ £85+ that's so hard to stop drinking as it's good young & old 😍 Given 5-15 years this will be a 98+ wine but 95-96 today 👍

Carter White
Really ripe, pushing the border of what I like, but it stays on the right side of it. It has enough earthiness and acidity to provide balance. — 5 years ago
