Valinière Faugères Mourvedre Syrah

Wow, mouvedre is such a cool variety. This unexpected surprise has an intense expression of the classic leather and mineral character, with chaparral (garrigiue) and brambly fruit. Snuck the bottle into a screening of Chef, good times.

2006, men fick av oklara anledningar inte områdesklassas. Lite oxiderad doft. Dill, gräddfil, trä, mörk frukt. Mer balanserad i smaken med fattoner och integrerade chokladiga tanniner.

Leffervescence. The best wine of the wine pairing. The earthly taste of the barrel oak is not over-bearing but just enough to bring the roasted duck to earthly goodness.

2013. Such a special wine. Needs a ton of aeration but this mostly Mourvèdre bottling is incredible.

Really a great wine, dark fruit leather and smoke. Lovely tannins and a little spice on the pallet

2006 en 2016. Le vieillissement en magnum est tout doux. Vin encore jeune, d'une grande élégance. Bravo monsieur Dider.

Bra till fet mat. Ganska mycket fruktsyra. Fin!
