Dug this hidden treasure out of the back of the chiller ad wow! The extra time in bottle has matured this Rose to a smooth drinking delicate start to a Friday wine night vin de Corse advertises as sea breezes of Southern France and they are not far off — 5 years ago
Oak butter, olive, green apple smell, taste has a really tart acidic bite, meatiness that creates a complex full linger of the described flavors — 6 years ago
A surprising lighter style Pauillac for an 05 but @ £90+ it’s in a nice place, but a touch disappointing compared to others such as the amazing 2000 😁

Tasted at the producer, this is a primeur / pleasure to drink young vintage. 100% Cabernet-Franc. Light purple color, clear and limpid. Raspberry and herbaceous nose. Supple mouth blending raspberry, notes of cedar, cypress.
Slightly acidity, but the typical Touraine mineral structure, reminiscent of slate, pencil lead, or charcoal, bringing a refreshing salivating tension. On salads, aperitif-dinners, cold meats, cheese pastas, it's easy to drink, and pleasant.
— 5 years ago
First, this wine was previously in a grey bottle, Why? Beginning with the 2017 vintage, the wine is in a clear bottle, which to me has a much better appeal, to see the wine! Fruit sourced from Monterey County, pale lemon-lime color with aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and slight biscuit notes. This wine is unoaked and fermented in stainless and concrete tanks. On the palate, crisp, with flavors of apple, melon and peach adding in some citrus zest. Balanced acidity, medium body and finish ending slightly on the creamy side. Drink young while its fresh! Aloha Champagne Fridays (this is the inaugural occasion). This is superb for around $20. The label lets your know this is dry all the way. 100% Chardonnay. Yellow apples and light caramel notes. Friends who take my reviews seriously (should proceed with caution) might prefer the Grüner Brut (Szigeti from Austria) from a little while back at this price point. But this is darn good. — 7 years ago

Nature Gamay .. fruity and supple. Light, floral. Lacks a bit of freshness for my taste. Otherwise it is very well done. Easy to drink, and digestible.
Gamay nature.. fruité et souple. Léger, floral. Manque un peu de fraîcheur pour mon goût. Sinon c’est très bien fait. Facile à boire et digeste. — 5 years ago
Paired with home made Focaccia with homegrown garden Cherry yellow and red tomatoes. Superb 2016 Clos from Droin that seems to he coming together now after my first bottles that were not up to the standard of that good domaine. Lemon curd, sea salt, some white orchard fruit, great minerality and salinity coupled with depth, richness, and this nice tension, making it balanced, vibrant with a savoury lengthy finish. 92-93
92-93 — 5 years ago
Tried a sample at a wine tasting bar in store. Very pleasant - not aged in oak which I prefer. — 6 years ago
Not a Cali Chard fan normally but this is delish. Might be the leftover excitement from talking winemaking with Chuck Wagner yesterday but I loved this wine. Burgundian almost... — 7 years ago
Voluptuous with a nice smell of cacao, great. — 7 years ago
Fruit driven with seducing upper palate acidity and gulpy mouth watering tension. Natural and pure. Holds oxidation for around one hour - be aware. — 8 years ago
