We had the 2015 Vintage On 7/7-8/19. A terrible Chardonnay that is full bodied with smooth finish. There tastes of tropical fruit, apricot and oak. There is a minerality that is characteristic of a Mersault. — 6 years ago

Straw gold, a little gasoline-y, chewy?
I’m terrible at this.
Anyway, a classy Spanish white that would be perfect to serve with snacks. — 8 years ago
My favorite beer! — 8 years ago
Excellent Pinot from the Victorian High Country region. Tannins hit the front of the tongue. Oak, cherry, complex taste but straight out of the bottle was delicious to drink — 9 years ago

Terrible label, excellent beer. — 6 years ago
Terrible pic, great wine. Structured, dense and chewy, with ample tannins that are perfectly ripe and help to prolong the flavor. Still young and burly, with a flavor profile that veers towards young and savory - coffee, bitter chocolate, iron, graphite. There's a beautiful core of sweet cherry underneath - high toned, almost sappy - needs time. Great winemaking - balance of sweet and savory, dry but not astringent, fresh and lively but serious as well. Old school styled and delicious. — 6 years ago
#openthatbottlenight #otbn Terrible at first, totally undrinkable. Seemed maderized. But then after about 4 hours really started to open up. Not sure it was full ‘66 Haut-Brion experience but it was pretty special 24 hours after popping! — 8 years ago
Accidentally found a lost bottle of this vintage 2004 in the basement - in a carton since about 2006. (Solid blaufränkisch no-question but not something you’d call age-worthy, also need to mention the terrible storage circumstances with constant temperature and humidity changes for more than 10 years!).
Definitely past its prime some years ago but still very interesting. Lacks fruit. Acidity i would say medium +, tannins very soft and integrated. But not really in balance, overall very overaged aroma profile. Still interesting. Violet, reminiscent of pepper and plum, some oak and leather. — 8 years ago
2002... terrible year for the Spanish (All South Korea's fault) ... this was the exception. Big wine. Smith. Complex. 15 years old. Jeeze. — 9 years ago
Quintessential Aussie pinot. Deep ruby. Shy nose. Sweet, fruit forward style. Lots of plumb and red fruit on the palate. Lovely tannins and good acid balance so should age well. But nothing other than primary fruit; no funk or spice to bring complexity down the road. VG but not great. — 9 years ago
This is rather fabulous. Minerals. Pink grapefruit. Very refreshing and zippy. It makes me feel like I shattered a geode in my mouth but like in a good way. Actually that sounds terrible just know this is all the dignified sparkle you could hope for. — 6 years ago

Terrible sur une viande blanche — 7 years ago
It's good. It doesn't stand out as being great or terrible. — 8 years ago
Reminds me of the days drinking terrible Bordeaux but then having exceptional Bordeaux not realizing it. I realize this is beyond exceptional Bordeaux. — 8 years ago
