Celebrating 5 years with my bride at our usual joint, Wild Olives in Rosemary Beach.
Lovely Meursault paired with both snapper and jumbo lump crab meat (shown in photo) as well as fire encrusted jalapeño blue fin tuna that was tagged/killed less than 24 hours prior to being served to us. This selection was nice and rich with a depth that blossomed as time passed. — 6 years ago

Omg a perfect fumé blanc, exactly what you would expect/want out of a fumé blanc. And from California?! I'm so surprised. Perfect for seafood, which I'm currently pairing it with (king crab, seared tuna, oysters, jumbo shrimp, snow crab slaw) and very nice for cooling off in summer. Not too sweet, not too dry. Golden yellow hue
On nose spicy oak is evident, but not overpowering
Lemon, goose berry, wet stone like minerality. On palate oak gives peppery and creamy feeling. Again lemon, lime, white currant. Medium acidity, mid weight and clearly has stuffing for atleast few years of aging. When wine warms up the oak takes bit too large role. Best served around 10 degC when it's wonderfully fresh. Goes down dangerously easy and worked great with grilled jumbo shrimps — 5 years ago

So elegant. Acidity isn't too pronounced and with the scallops, a perfect pairing. The fat of the scallops brings out all of the complexity- the minerality, the fruit, pretty finish and acidity to cut through the jumbo scallops. — 8 years ago

Excited to drink this producer. Almond croissant with a stewed fruit glaze on the nose. Palette is like you drank briney sea water then popped a jumbo marshmallow and some Fuji apple. Some aged manchego in there somewhere. Drinking quite well right now, nothing wham bam out of control about it but damn good. — 5 years ago

Fresh apple on the nose, creamy texture on the palate with lots of fine bubbles, hints of mineral apple and pear with a dry finish. Served with "Shrimp Baha Corn and Bean" sauteed jumbo shrimp, poblano peppers, cilantro, tomatoes, whole corn, black beans and limes with heat from plenty of crushed red pepper. — 6 years ago
