Mark & Joyce both chose this time vs Benton Lane Pinot Noir — 6 years ago
Nose is cherry pie, strawberry and cranberry. On the palate is more strawberry and cranberry with clove and cinnamon overlaying an earthy mineral backbone. It drops off slightly in the finish, but this is a well rounded, medium bodied Pinot with excellent bang for the buck. — 8 years ago
Want some fruit? Right up front. Not too dry. A finish like 120-grit sandpaper was run over it; in other words, smooth. Semolina Gnocchi with Pancetta. With fresh tomato sauce. Joyce and Clark over for dinner. Joanna also asked for cheesy bread. Recommended. — 8 years ago

Wine is :
2012 12C G3 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford, Georges III Vineyard
(Pic / Wine not on Delectable Site) Winemaker- @Mike Smith Winery Proprietors: John & Joyce Raudabaugh. The 2012 "G3 Reserve" was not reviewed by one of the Rock Stars; but RP gave 98 to the 2013 Version!
So for a Sunday night this doesn't suck!
Wine has gobs of glycerin, thick concentration, almost a black as night look, tannins present but integrated & linger on a long 45 second finish. Very well made & really happy I grabbed some of the G3 Reserves, cheers! — 8 years ago

My buddy Ian brand coming correct. Sf chronicle wine maker of the year a few years back. Making a good name for our place Monterey. Listen to the bedrock podcast with Ian! It’s a good listen and the wine is super thoughtful. I can say im super thankful he and heather are keeping this going! Thank you heather brand for pouring and being the great host! Always gracious and kind. Ian and heather are bringing Monterey back up where it should be with the likes of Mark Chesebro (arroyo seco), tira nanza, russel Joyce and a few others. Big ups @Lee Lightfoot for letting me join you and Julie today. No doubt Carmel valley is on the rise again. Worth a visit! Contact me for appointments before summer — 4 years ago
