Flavors of strawberry, watermelon, peach and a touch of citrus are followed by crisp, dry minerality and a bright, acidic backbone. This Santa Cruz Mountains AVA trip in San Jose was so much fun. We got really lucky and booked both Ridge and Mount Eden on the same day. In my opinion they are the two best representations of wine produced on this AVA. Unique dirt, grape growing, wine making and history. — 7 years ago

Canary Island product. Pale harvest orange-yellow, excellent clarity. Dried fruit or fruit leather notes in nose. Smoky apricot, peach flavors with a touch of salinity. Really different white; yes, a curiosity, but also a good pour. Some astringency in finish. — 6 years ago

Big dark cherry and plum Jose with ripe Syrah perfume. A little over the top with notes of cherry ludens and mint coming on. Layered, a bit of funk. Reminds me of the one really good SQN I had without quite the same mid palate density and with a shorter, drier finish. Still one of the better Washington State wines I've had. — 9 years ago
