Petit Jo Grenache

Really tasty mix of grenache and syrah. Spiced, but definitely taste the fruitiness over all else. Lovely smell. Definitely a wine that we could drink regularly. Had this in Denmark. — 7 days ago

@Lyle Fass this was an epiphany wine for me and when I bought the 2020 vintage from you, and subsequently tasted it, I was reaffirmed of my assertion.

Le Fief du Breil Muscadet Sevre Et Maine Sur Lie 2016

Off the charts QPR as with many of the top muscadet. Fleshy white peach, grapefruit, stone, slightly bitter green almond, lees. Absolutely beautiful and I’m sure would age into a stunner — 2 months ago

Clos La Carizière Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie Melon de Bourgogne 2020

This is great, crisp and clean muscadet! Chalky, lemony and flowery touches. The palate is extremely well balanced with a great acid drive, some flowery and lemony touches all along, a round and spherical mid palate and a superb, subtle flowery and lemony touches. Superb muscadet — 8 months ago

Savennières Chenin Blanc 2021

Photo taken by my daughter as I, apparently, am "sucking" at photography 🙄
This is a great, simple chenin from Savennières that I like to taste once in a while. We had it along with a raclette (yes I know, again) and it was a great pairing.
Green apple, honey, wax, a touch of lemon too. The palate shows a massive acid drive, but it's not just fresh, there is some width and matter to go with it. Lemon juice and green apple touches that caress the tongue play around the acid drive and build up in the rear, before a long and fresh finish with the same fruit touches and a tiny waxy note in the very end. Chenin is well deserving all the recent rave, really.

Saint-Joseph Syrah 2019

Nose : graphite. Blackberry. Beautiful.

Palate: blackberry. Blueberry. Lovely finesse. Dry Good texture. Delicious. A bit of Fresh sweet green olives. It flits in and out.

As this opens the lavender comes out. Bloody gorgeous.

As this opens waaaay more elegant and less blueberry juice.

This needs an hour. Pop and pour and you are missing elite st jo.
