Sexy fucking wine. Sexy is overused but I’d get in a hastily planned 3 month relationship with this wine that would end in bitter heartbreak. Gorgeous nose. Flowers, big cherries, lipstick vibe. Palate is ripe and opulent with lovely sucrosity and wonderful freshness. Silky tannins and great mouthfeel. Very 15 but also very alluring. Long finish. Wonderful mineral drive and very complex. Beautiful biodynamic cab franc. Tried 3 of these chi ins wines all beautiful but this one was the one. Medium bodies, round mouthfeel, so,e essence of the soil and rock from the surrounding river banks and mountains. Very much enjoyed the 2012 and cellared 2 more to be assessed in next 3-5 years if we can hold onto it that long. — 9 years ago
