Wonderfully full bodied, was getting better even as we drank the last drops. — 10 years ago
Côte-Rôtie Deep ruby with purple highlights. Clean, medium-plus nose with a riot of aromas including medicinal overtones of iodine and tar, black olive licorice, black pepper and exotic spices. Medium plus acidity, medium plus ripe tannins with all the aromas mirrored on the palate. Excellent multi-layered wine with a long finish. — 10 years ago

Excellent. More complex but with all that wonderful balance. — 7 years ago
2008 vintage. Very rich and vinous. Lots of red fruit with tart cherry, golden raspberry, baked apple, red and pink flowers. Very textbook for Meunier. Killer value! — 8 years ago
Good herbal and earth notes on the nose. Dark fruit palate with firm tannins and leather undertones. — 9 years ago
Solid example of the GC but to be honest I've never really been impressed with Chartron, they tick a few boxes, but when it comes to a wine that moves you, this isn't the producer I would talk about, mediocrity is a harsh word, but it's what I've found so often, considering the price... — 10 years ago
Big fat oaky beast; bags of fruit. 1 minute finish. Turbot roasted with fennel demanded a response. This was it. Fish 1: Burgundy 1. A fair result. — 10 years ago
Not bad for a random liquor store find! — 10 years ago
Very nicely balanced white burgundy. Subtle white stone fruit with balanced acidity on the finish. Paired well with the fish based tasting menu. — 11 years ago

Super hot vintage. This got very stewed after a few hours. Atypical, I guess. Best served immediately. — 12 years ago
Needs more time in the bottle — 8 years ago

Incredible for the $$. Black earth, tar, cassis, mild tannin. Still surprisingly light on its feet for the style. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Un grand pauillac? Not sûre. C bon. Une côte rôtie encore. — 10 years ago
