Brilliant deep ruby - quite dark for gamay. Lovely spice, violet, red flowers, cranberry, raspberry liqueur and a nice earthy, forest floor note. This wine has surprisingly vibrant acidity and soft tannins - good with food and probably even better in a year. I made salmon with a soy, ginger and orange glaze and it was a terrific match — 8 years ago

Lighter than his usual wines but man this still has so much beautiful concentration, vigor and precision. If you tasted this blind there is a chance you would think it’s a young grand cru. To think this is not a village but a REGIONAL production wine is absolutely mind boggling. Typical fourrier aromatics - wild strawberries, herbs, cherries, floral notes. Amazing salinity and freshness on the palate. Fun and vibrant. Long finish. Just incredible price to quality ratio. Floored. — 4 years ago

Cuvée Primeur, but not "Nouveau" from Gamay in Beaujolais by the Lapierre family. We recognize the style on the purity that has made the reputation of these remarkable winemakers. A charming and subtle fresh and pure juice, between strawberry, pomegranate, red fruits, floral notes. Even better the next day.
Cuvée Primeur, mais pas « Nouveau » de Gamay en Beaujolais par la famille Lapierre. On reconnaît le style sur la pureté qui a fait la réputation de ces vignerons remarquables.
