Always good! Imported by Jean Marie de Champs. — 9 years ago
An amazing summer time wine, great Sancerre Pinot Noir. Great with seafood and spicy dishes. Hints of rose pedal, currants, apricots and peach. First one on the island to taste it. — 10 years ago
Catagorizing: My cousin's production. Unimported. 100% Chardonnay. This is a 1998. — 10 years ago
Those monks know what they're doing. Sweet and herbaceous and full of flavour. — 11 years ago
Jean-Marie's pet project--jar-aged Carignan. Really, really good; far more fruity and less reductive funk than I would have imagined. A gift to my friend Zach during our visit. — 8 years ago
Nose of lavender and cedar and a dry palate of new blackberry. For $7, why not?! — 9 years ago
Looks like Syrah, drinks like Pinot Noir. — 10 years ago
2012 vintage. Bitter sour cherries lots of slate and crushed stones. Super bitter with lots of red fruit, but balanced. — 10 years ago

Light and easy to drink. Has an low mellow acidity with a hint of berry — 9 years ago
Bought this to be the "wine before the wine" bottle and while light and crispy (as you would expect) , it really holds its own as far as strength on the flavor profile. Highly recommendable Sancerre #sancerre #wine #whitewine #domaine #france — 9 years ago
Nice concentration of fruit, slick wood, abundance of salinity and mineral. Another Jean-Marie Des Champs masterpiece. — 10 years ago
Christmas dinner! — 10 years ago
Truman's starting the week off right. Finally ventured outside the Napa region. 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah. Not as sweet as the Napa Grenache that we've had, but good nose and smooth finish. — 11 years ago

Strawberry, rose petals, perfume, hint of cocoa, cranberry. A perfectly gulpable picnic or porch wine! Low tannins, med minus alcohol, med finish, med minus body. A bright, happy expression of 100% Cinsault made by Jean-Marie Rimbert in the Languedoc (St. Chinian sub region). Schist soil. Label put together by Rimbert from 1950s magazines, and named after girlfriend's cousin Oscar who is popular with ladies. Goes great with fresh cheeses like Fleur Verte or bloomy like Delice de Bourgogne, roast chicken, fresh pasta with butter and spring herbs. Plush, juicy, ripe but not too ripe, smooth, and very pretty. 100% stainless steel. Beautiful natural wine! — 8 years ago
