This is just really well balanced. It has the acidity and tannins to run. I can't hit this with one description. Right balance. Right fruit, right must, right bite, slow oxing, will update in an hour. This one needs at least 2yrs to be epic. Save. Will be awesome in 3+. — 9 years ago
So much deliciousness in the glass. Verdicchio crushing it again and again. Vibrant, succulent, zippy acid and loads os texture and charm. My favorite IT white grape. Ripe yellow fruit, a kiss of tropical to it, peach, meyer lemon, plum; exotic herbs and floral tones, jokingly saying it smells like Garnier Fructise shampoo, but its herbal, fennel, aloe, verbena all together, lovely salty mineral backbone, green almonds, cheese rind and lemon cream. Great length and finish, the acid balances the phenolic structure and body of the wine perfectly. All concrete and lees contact make for a distinctive wine here. — 6 years ago

Just it's name #elixir then there's the #chartreuse factor. Just WOW! In France it's even sold in some pharmacies and I get that, but if this is medicine Mary Poppins, then give me more — 8 years ago

Bright sunshine. Lisa wants to drink this on the porch of our plantation overlooking the Spanish moss covered elms. Lemon, orange peel, stones. Living and vibrant. Great acid/fruit balance. Med+ length. ~chalky texture. Delicious now but good to age. — 9 years ago
