Very floral but full bodied — 6 months ago
1997 vintage. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc. The most humble of the Domaines Delon stable ( Léoville Las Cases, Clos du Marquis, Nénin) is showing incredibly well at 27 years old. Showing its age more in the nose than in the taste, but actually improving with decanting ( thanks broken cork!). Still good fruit, with refreshing acidity and a good grip of soft tannin. Very good length too. Still worth seeking out from a well-stored bottle. — a year ago

Outstanding value for a humble Bordeaux. On day 6 in zero it’s still showing well with velvety texture and complex finish. — 4 months ago

Had a glass of this wine last night. It’s sweet but not too sweet; tastes lovely chilled. It’s a very good moscato for the price. — 4 months ago
Fun orange wine, more on the blush side but dry and funky. Drank with ramen. — 5 months ago
Excellent Pinot with dark red fruit, wet stone and spice — a year ago

Bright golden color. Aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers and sea spray. The palate leans more toward pear and unripe peach with a pleasant herbal note on the finish. Mouth filling texture, medium body and crisp acidity. There is a bit of weight (pleasant) but it’s not over the top. Still fresh (opened almost five years past the vintage date) and quite fruit forward. So interesting! — 21 days ago
