Deep purple in color; plums, black cherries, and oak on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; a little hot; tastes like black plums, licorice (I think), and blackberry jam with a long peppery finish. Nellie likes it. I do too, but it's more fruit forward than what I prefer lately, but very good — 8 months ago
This is just ridiculous. Act 7. Tastes of deep figs/plums up front as if grandma just baked a pie in your mouth. Finished smooth with a tiny bit of spice and more jams that make you want to cry. More of this please. — 4 years ago
Right mix of fruit, smooth, complex, and nice finish — 5 years ago
Lovely dark cherries and high acid, great with some Indian spiced lamb chops. Would love to try it with a few more years. — 6 years ago
One of the best Malbec’s I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Mendoza!! — a year ago
Top notch amazing Malbec — 4 years ago
This one comes from a certified sustainable farm, with blackberry and dried cranberry character, a bit sweet and fruity at the end which makes it perfect for drinking by itself, it won’t go wrong with a nice steak! — 5 years ago
Gentle spice and oaky. A soft leather feel and content on the tongue — 5 years ago

Garnet color with hints of orange on the rim showing the age. On the nose, dried but ripe and brambly blackberry, raspberry and almost a savory quality to it with thyme and rosemary spices coming through. On the palate, you get the ripe fruits with an overall lifted spiced wine with a minerality backbone with a long expressive finish. I could taste the wine almost 4 mins later. High complexity and high quality wine that is very expressive and full of fruit and garrigue. Medium acidity, medium body, medium and silky tannins and medium alcohol. Decanted for 3 hours and what a treat on Grenache day!! :) — 4 years ago
If you haven’t tried Texas wine but do have very high standards, you must check out Kuhlman Cellars! Award winning Roussane is bright, crisp, with lingering smoothness that will delight your palette. The best combination of French and California right here, but from TX!! — 5 years ago
My kind of Malbec-excellent balance, emphasis on freshness, acidity, but the black fruit shines as well, alcohol completely in check. My go to wine shop thought this was their best malbec (out of many) & I agree — 6 years ago

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, forest floor, plum, cherry, currants, spice and bbq. On the palate, blueberry, blackberry, cherry, plum, and high acidity right out of the bottle. After breathing some, notes of cedar, minerals, tobacco, and spice, carrying through to a longer finish of cherry, vanilla and mint. Tannins strong but balanced. — 6 months ago
