Juicy and the right amount of acid for me to keep me engaged. Cherries and plums are the prominent combo I’m getting here. — 3 years ago
Top notch amazing Malbec — 5 years ago
Dark ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, chalk, leather, and strawberry. Medium-high tannins and medium-low acidity. Soft and juicy (which suggests another varietal included with the Cabernet Sauvignon). Nevertheless very approachable and dangerously drinkable. — 6 years ago
My kind of Malbec-excellent balance, emphasis on freshness, acidity, but the black fruit shines as well, alcohol completely in check. My go to wine shop thought this was their best malbec (out of many) & I agree — 8 years ago
Surprisingly delicious! — 8 years ago
ordered at On the Waterfront, absolutely delicious right out of the bottle — 4 years ago
Great wine. Lots of fruity flavor. Robust and rich. Paired perfectly with beef Wellington. $21 — 5 years ago
Very good wine at an excellent price! Way more complex than what I expected. — 6 years ago
After an hour and a half, this one settled down. Quite "weedy" initially, but then became a very nice wine, almost with a youthful kind of nose. If tasted blind, I would have said this was a 2009-2011 high end CDP. But, there's a HINT of mushroom on the nose and front of the palate, along with raspberry tart and some mature pipe tobacco and worn saddle leather, hint of clove. Finishes with a lot of fruit influence. Tannins have resolved quite nicely on this wine. The youth of this wine is starting to give to a more mature side. Nice. In a good spot right now. — 7 years ago
Slight oak. Aged. Matured black fruits. Good concentration. Balanced! CP good. Terrazas de Los Andes High Altitude Vineyards Malbec Reserva 17 @1800, Ambassador, 250612 — 6 months ago
From nice :) — 5 years ago
This is just ridiculous. Act 7. Tastes of deep figs/plums up front as if grandma just baked a pie in your mouth. Finished smooth with a tiny bit of spice and more jams that make you want to cry. More of this please. — 6 years ago
Can’t get better than this. Intense red color and earthy aroma. Dominant tannins, with a firm grip drenched in deep dark dry fruit with hints of burned earth, fall leaves and earthy compost. Intense, complex, deep but narrow on the pallet. Grippy finish that kept lingering for minutes. Set the bar very high for our old versus new country Bordeaux wine comparison with the Jacksons. — 7 years ago

Very complex and well-balanced at the same time. This Sauvignon Blanc has almost Old World Chardonnay taste. — 8 years ago

Medium yellow , touch of gold . Fine bubbles , though not a lot noticable in our wine glasses . Bit of development with brioche , orange rind , mocha , touch of honeysuckle and crushed stones . On the palate this is fine boned , elegant, lemon rind , baked pastry , fine chalky notes . Quite high grippy acidity , this is linear and quite direct in style , but enough volume on the palate to cover its bones . Good medium length mineral and crystallised lemon pith charged finish . This is drinking well now but will probably last well over the next 5-10 years. — 4 months ago
