Wine Spec gives this a 93 and only 395 cases +-! I give it the same. Need to be served at a cool 60 degrees. Great nose good fruit up front with just a touch of heat that goes away with breathing . Color of decent ruby, quite clear. Nose of youth, sour cherry, some berries, barrel chips or cedar, spice, medicinal syrup, more fire wood note, and strength of alcohol. Taste follows the nose, oaky comes first, tannins second, subtle refined sweetness from fruits comes last. Aftertaste is pretty decent with more firewood note. Pretty good. — 6 years ago

Got better as it stayed open. Dark color. Cedar nose. A cab to be had young. A boutique bottle from a french winemaker. I didn't like it then took a deep breath and said " ok Jody don't be a snob it's not a name high end brand" Thought about it, closed my eyes and liked it. ! — 9 years ago
