Such a good Barbera Superiore, matured in oak and made out of grapes from older vines. Absolutely stunning. — 3 years ago
Coffee, vanilla, plums, raisins on the nose. Light to medium fruit with hints of coffee, caramel, toasted oak, and a hint of tannins. This has a nice balance of fruit, spice and tannins, but is a little light for my taste. This bottle is quite enjoyable, but Hartford has others that are better. — 3 years ago

Opulent. Gauva, pineapple, nectarine, honeydew, and mango. Delicious. — 4 years ago
It’s a very rich style chardonnay, but it’s unapologetically delicious. Professional scores have it as high as 97 and the purity of fruit along with the deft use of french oak and balanced acidity are certainly deserving. It strikes a nice balance even with everything amped up and an alcohol level of 14.6%. Only 326 cases made, if you see a bottle in the wild drink it! — 4 years ago
