Needs about 2 hours of air. Great nose of flint, baking spice, sweet cranberries, plums, white pepper. Palate is well balanced with similar flavors maybe more savory than baking spice. 2013 Herman Story Syrah White Hawk
Dark purple in color. Medium + bodied.
What a nose -comes off prosciutto,lavender, spice black jam.
Screaming blackberries, ground pepper, gaminess. Silky tannins, light acidity & a great finish. What’s not to love.
Very close to a PNP...let it open up in your glass for a short bit of time.
Wouldn’t wait more than a few years to drink these up. IMHO — 3 years ago

It’s gorgeous from stem to stern. We tasted it straight out of the bottle in addition to a good-time of decanting and while different experiences between the two- this is a luscious, GORGEOUS blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre- and a splash of Viognier. It’s the perfect bottle to take to pair with lamb, steak- SHRIMPIES, whatevs. We were blown away. It is NOT cheap- but with regard to value- I’ve yet to meet its equal. — 4 years ago
