Vosne Romanée was in the limelight in this podcast that I am following the other day. So I har to have a taste. And I must say that it has got style. 17/5-2021 — 5 years ago
Gripping, austere, reductive, mineral-laced and utterly cerebral. That describes the general appeal of this very well-crafted entry level bottling. But it remains expressive, aromatic, lifted and graceful. This vintage has proven to be one of the best gateways into serious and traditional Burgundy wines for many of my customers, earning it a couple of extra points from me. — 7 years ago

2010 vintage. Nice fill and perfect cork. Decanted with very minimal sed. Still vibrant color a shade below ruby red. Tasted 5 mins and 30 mins after decanting. Nose slightly dirtier than expected after the funk blew off 10 mins post-decant. Medium body. Two other participants involved in tasting this mentioned a banana note, which I got after a bit of searching. It was far from a Hefeweizen gimme to be sure. Was honestly captivated by a clarion bell of exquisite, red fruit tartness at the top of the middle palate that set and reset my experience throughout at every sip. 02.22.25. — 10 months ago

A complex Chardonnay that really is wonderful to drink. — 7 years ago
All kinds of salty mineral goodness. Best to let open up in the glass for 20-30mins. Let it develop along with good conversation with friends or family. #wheninparis — 8 years ago
Toasty yet flinty — 9 months ago
Surprisingly precotious, with aromas of hazelnuts and drying fruit. A sense of oak with a little hint of vanilla, perhaps telling of a bit of new oak in the mix. Quite big bodied, high acidity and a smooth texture. Two years on the lees, long finish. — 4 years ago
Earthy aroma. Acidic, slight stimulation to my throat. Strawberry and sour berries. 2015 @1250, Kping -, 201217-201219 — 5 years ago

Excellent representation of a young Trousseau. — 7 years ago
First thing I notice is the golden color. Very floral, white flowers, can smell the green stem of a flower. Smells very hot, with mineral/shell/slate. Also smells sweet, honey suckle, and butterscotch. Must be oaked at least slightly. Tastes hot, high acidity, citrus notes/grapefruit. Very juicy as well, in guava, pineapple, tropical fruits for sure, and green grapes. Also low mouth feel, aka thin, but it is refreshing. I've never tried either of these grapes and really enjoy it. Pretty complex and tasty! — 8 years ago

Quite pale lemon , straw colour . On the nose this shows good freshness with some white peach , lemon pith , white flowers and light seabreeze notes . On the palate this has a creamy texture with white peach , lemon notes , with a saline seaside tinge . Good freshness and decent length . I can imagine this going really well with bouillabaisse. Drinking well and probably continue to so over the next 3-4 years — 7 months ago
