Paleokerisio Traditional Semi-sparkling Ioannina Orange 2016

Cidery goodness with notes of buttered rum, spices, yeast, and vanilla. A good balance of sweetness acidity and bitterness with effervescence. I'm obsessed. — 6 years ago

Wide, round, cidery, a bit of spritz, quite complexly volatile. Dryish, salty. New for me: no sulfur added Mosel Riesling — 7 years ago

Essence Apple Wine

Sweet, but not disgusting like syrup. Has nice flavor, and is amazing for desert after dinner. Usually don't like sweet wine, but this was amazing. On the expensive side, but worth it every once in a while. — 7 years ago

Keepsake Cidery

Wild Cider 2016

Tangy, yeasty, and with just a hint of honey which provides just enough sweetness. This is a great local MN cider! ($12) [10/27/16] — 8 years ago

Argus Cidery

Lady Goldsmith Sparkling Hard Cider

Celebrating four years of marriage. Bottled the week of our wedding. Perhaps we have held up better that the cider, but it's tasty. Heavy oak has integrated, sharp edges from a year or two ago have simmered. Nearly uncarbonated, tasty. — 8 years ago

Terpin Franco (TERPIN)

Quinto Quarto Pinot Grigio Ramato 2017

Interestingly different than past vintages. A lot of length, bright stone fruit. The usual cidery-ness up front, but without the pink glow of previous vintages...is this still Pinot Grigio? Slope called it ribolla gialla and the color change has me wondering... — 5 years ago

Eve's Cidery

Northern Spy Apple Cider 2014

Light white in color. Light carbonation. Light floral and apple aromas. Tart Granny Smith flavor profile, salty, some light seed tannin flavor on finish. A refreshing pour. 7% a/v — 6 years ago

Serragghia Bianco Secco Zibibbo

Cloudy light pumpkin; cidery with lime, grapefruit, melon and oxidized aromas; definitively oxidized and yeasty in the mouth recalling vin jaune, balanced by medium plus acidity, a bit astringent and bitter from skin contact; all of which make for good balance with a touch of VA and long finish — 7 years ago

Aaron Burr Cidery

Ginger Apple Cider 2013

Still showing very nicely in 2016.
It's a 10 for me, as is everything they do. Crisp, well-balanced, and as elegant as a 'flavored' cider gets.

Plenarius Viognier 2014

Heady aromatics of apricot, orange rind, iced tea, pineapple, ginger and that cidery skin contact white vibe. Medium to full bodied for the style, generous in its flavour and length, shaped up with chalky phenolics — 8 years ago

Terra de Cuques Priorat Pedro Ximénez Muscat 2012

My pic didn't turn out as well as @Nick Davis . Check out his. This is a cidery, wild, singular take on PX & Muscat that I wouldn't have thought possible if I hadn't drunk it. — 8 years ago

Renosu Bianco Sennori White Blend

Yes. White wine. (As opposed to stupid rose) Beautiful golden color. No idea what grapes are in here cause bottle doesn’t say. But it’s smooth. Round. Like viogner. No icky citrus or salinity. Read some other reviews and yes totally right on about the Asian pear and it being cidery. Just what the doctor ordered on a Tuesday night after a long day of work. — 6 years ago

Terrible packaging but it doesn't take a space cadet to understand the complexity of this perry. Benchmark perry for my production this summer. — 7 years ago

Aaron Burr Cidery

Homestead Perry Choke Pear

What you'd expect from an Aaron Burr pear cider - a kind of funky, yet refined earthiness with a bit of pear sourness. Oh and quite good of course. 30 cases produced, if you're counting. — 7 years ago

Château de Beaucastel

Vieilles Vignes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Roussanne 2004

Orange color and a little cidery smell, but mostly white flowers and honey on the nose Dry and short, little fruit, mineral and nutty palate. Interesting old wine. A good end to a great night after Luis Campos tenure lecture. — 8 years ago
