Outstanding, a treat--medium weight, slightly viscous, calvados and toasted barley tea notes

2004 Beaucastel in magnum was perfect with an heirloom turkey. Needed about 90 minutes of air then opened up beautifully. Great mouthfeel, red fruit, pepper.

Orange color and a little cidery smell, but mostly white flowers and honey on the nose Dry and short, little fruit, mineral and nutty palate. Interesting old wine. A good end to a great night after Luis Campos tenure lecture.
