Some of the best deals in Washington wine come from Gorman IMO. Medium body, brambly red fruit, ink, and meat. Still on the young side, but ready after 30 minutes in the glass. — 8 years ago

Darker gold than you might expect from a Chardonnay, medium+ viscosity. Nose is interesting, seeing oak, white flowers, and some darker inorganic notes...earthy mushrooms, maybe? Palette is hot, with more oak, pear, apples, good dose of acid. — 9 years ago

Light pink, herbal, melon and white pepper aromas, also a slight sulfite-cabbage aroma that I did not find objectionable. Watermelon and cherry flavors. Dry but fruity, good acid, cherry and watermelon on finish with some skin astringency. — 6 years ago

2012. I like FM wines, and winemaker here, Chris Gorman. But, for a Cab, it just lacked any power. Intense berry, and tobacco, cola, leather and liquorice. Nice flavors, but just missed that Cab oomph. 14.9 ABV. No burn. — 10 years ago
