WOW! Needs a good 45 minutes to breathe.,opens up with gobs of black fruits. Great texture and body. Really expressive with that little time I left in my glass. I find this 2013 to be way Superior to the 2012! Go figure! Orin Swift Papillon does it again, Dave P. You are the Man! Awesome , CB says a solid 95 — 10 years ago
Wow. Washington state? Go figure. — 11 years ago
This is a really decent wine all the way around, and we had a big debate about whether to give it just the smiley face or the open mouth smiley face. But no input from Theodora who uses vivino. So go figure.

Smooth, creamy and fruity. It tastes like a dark fruity cupcake. Go figure :) Great for those cold winter nights. — 10 years ago
Glad we stocked up on these but we go through it so fast we really should stock more of the 100% Chardonnay, I mean, for a tenth of the price the value is undeniable and just makes every other bottle seem over priced. Sure it was awesome, but I can't get over the 3 figure price tag when there are better bottles from France at half the price. — 10 years ago
Had this with Coq a Vin. Extraordinary these 2007s have retained their fruit, nice mouthfeel, and a really long finish. Trying to figure out where they go from here, certainly this has time left. — 11 years ago
I figure go to a "go to" reliable red when watching Montreal at home in hockey playoffs. It worked. #GoHabs! — 12 years ago

Opened in 2015, and it's great but still young (go figure). I enjoyed it very much, but I wish I had been more patient — 11 years ago
Burnt candle wax notes improved to truffles! Go figure! Baked cherries black and bing, with tobacco sweetness, a touch of mint and rosemary, cedar, red currant, and a little grape bottle cap candy (in a good way). Cafe de leche with toffee, licorice and smoke. Really a charmer. This one evolved in the glass, showing so many interesting angles; muscled, but finesse through to the tangy, lip smacking, loitering finish. — 11 years ago
Was eating a Digorno spinach mushroom pizza and decided to try this; why not? For me, bold and not intimidated by the pizza. This needs a medium rare ribeye!
8/9/14: opened another bottle of this over a month ago: ugh! Rather than throw it out, I used an ornamental cork stopper & kept for cooking. Forgot about it until about 2 weeks ago... Took a taste: voila! It was great. Go figure! — 12 years ago
