Already drinking beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years and beyond.

I disliked this barolo at first but I truly learned a lot from it. Initially it was pure burgundarian: red fruit, elegant, mild tannins and just simply elegant but little did i know cannubi tends to produce such wine but as it evolved and opened up, I started to love the evolution of the wine. The red fruit and elegance was still there but I began to taste more sweet and tangy notes. The fruit began to yield dried fruit, spice, leather, earth and the tannins began to strengthen because the main actor wasn't the fruit anymore. This wine is life: you may not like the fruit that was given initially but through time, you began to appreciate why it was that way. Life is wine and wine is life. Enjoy this masterpiece. I will try another cannubi but this time from an iconic producer. — a day ago

Wow - first wine by Giacomo conterno and I see why this producer is hailed as one of the legends of Piedmonte. This required a few hours of air in decanter and was singing - the nose was utterly amazing with layered florals. Full body and a seemless experience on the palate - this has the structure to continue evolving for a few more years in bottle but I see no reason to wait! — 3 months ago
Ruby in color with a wide brick rim.
Fruity nose with red fruits, flowers, metals, light earth and herbs.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, fresh picked cherries, vegetables, light wood, spices, coffee and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty, yet young, Barolo from the famous Cannubi plot in Barolo. Light and airy. Elegant, and feels very big.
Not very approachable yet, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Showing great potential to age nicely in the 10 years, and beyond.

Opened too young; lovely and exceptionally made wine. Brickish red/brown. I let decant for a loooong time. Lots of cranberry and red fruit, some herbs, clay, faint cedar and tobacco. The acidity was med-high, but the tannins really softened out with aeration. I'd say this is still developing flavors and will be 95+ in a decade. — 2 months ago

More time in the bottle would likely elevate my rating, per other reviews below…
WS: 94. Stitched with pure cherry and raspberry fruit, this red is supple and fragrant, showing lovely harmony. Mineral, tar and eucalyptus accents add detail. There's plenty of structure, with vibrant acidity and refined tannins focusing the finish. Elegant, with the potential to develop over the next two decades. Best from 2027 through 2045. 5,800 cases made, 4,000 cases imported.
JS: 93. There is a rustic, iron-like, rugged quality to this full-bodied and firmly tannic wine that will mellow somewhat with time. But enjoy it for the balsam, tar and red cherry aromas that lead to a meaty, mineral palate. Best from 2027. — 8 days ago
