A furry Alsatian in a hot tub. @Hardy Wallace β 8 years ago
Spicy and plummy. However it may have been premature to crack this one so soon... 2015 vintage β 9 years ago

Delicious SAB! Absolutely delicious. Must try the Ferus. β 9 years ago
Wellll this is my second favorite of the Champagnes I just got schooled in as part of the effervescence LA event Iβm lucky enough to be attending for @Delectable Wine ! It is also Geoff Kruthβs first pick. What can I say... it is classic. Elegant. Toast and almost caramel on the nose. It reminds me of a toasty communion bread dipped in perfect church grape juice and I know that sounds basic but this is like...magical communion. Iβd commune with it all day. β 8 years ago

1991 opened in 2017 - beautiful! β 9 years ago
This is a difficult wine for me. One that I go back and forth on...do I really, really love it or do I just flat out need it? Today is the answer is I NEED it. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it's so damn delicious. After all, @Hardy Wallace did win the '93 Massachusetts Hula Hoop championship so it's pretty clear he can do anything he wants. β 9 years ago
Couldn't pass up writing on this one, which I think we tasted in the egg. Very well balanced, glad the oak is muted, dare I say a very un-California Chardonnay? Salmon, quiche, etc....I wish we had gobs more to open in years to come. Hardy, any library wines? β 9 years ago
There needs to be more of this in the world. Refined tropical fruits with bubbles and a dose of @Hardy Wallace's magical energy! β 9 years ago
Low acid, Med tannins, going to be an ugly night ;-) β 9 years ago
Had the delicious privilege of introducing a dear friend to this wine. Changed his whole perspective on shit. "Wow...what is this again and where can I buy it?" @Hardy Wallace you've done it again. β 9 years ago
Once I stopped wanting this to be Muscadet (much lower acidity) or Ramato Pinot Gris (not nearly the tannin/phenolic structure) I really enjoyed this. It's a much quieter and more nuanced 'orange' wine, rewarding close attention and time taken. Lots of development over 3 days, and I'm curious where this is in another year or two. Thanks @Hardy Wallace ! β 9 years ago
