So this is part of the garagiste mystery Rutherford. This is insanely superior to the afleet Alex. I would have pegged this as Rutherford dust, cigar box, tons of dried fruits, sweet maraschino cherries, vanilla, tar, basically classic Napa ala chimney rock or whomever in that region. Lovely as a change of pace. — 6 years ago
$20 from Garagiste- complex, blackberry, plum, smoke, and leather. Full body with long finish. — 7 years ago
Thanksgiving is over, but I’m not working until Wednesday 👌 Solid Oregon Pinot on a peaceful, rainy Brooklyn night. #garagiste — 7 years ago

First impression really dry. Tastes like a dry stone. May not have been the right choice for shrimp and rice but would have thought so. Pretty wine on the nose Seemed to react much better to the blueberries and strawberries we had for dessert. Sourced from Garagiste so it was reasonably priced. I say go for it, you only live once!

This is nice. A game quality with the big dark berries, some funk, almost campfire, definite herbs. I think it fits the price. This would not be worth much more and I feel like I could find some other wines that taste like this in 11-15 dollar range. Probably from Trader Joe’s stash like this. — 6 years ago

Cracking wine. Red fruits, spicy, little barnyard. Silky and long. Stunning! — 9 years ago
Bob McDonald

A new producer to me as in Garagiste from the Mornington Peninsula. Light to medium Ruby. Aromatic red fruits of Strawberry and Cranberry with a stalky whole bunch note. Fresh and young. Light in colour but medium intensity with medium dry tannins. Great QPR at $25 a bottle. Not for long keeping I would say. Had another one 71 weeks later on 17th November 2021 with consistent notes. Excellent value. — 6 years ago
