A clean and bright straw yellow colour with light green tints and notes of ripe fruits such as apples and pear. Wafts of hay and tropical fruits with hints of passion fruit. A well balanced crisp fresh and easy to drink wine with a lingering silky finish with recurring notes of ripe fruit. An absolute bargain at under €7!! — 8 years ago
Easy fresh with effervescent bubble flavor. Green apple. Lower abv. — 8 years ago
Very interesting wine to say the least. Aromas of toast, yeast, green apple, orange blossom and quince. Round and rich mouthfeel with crisp lemon dominating the palate. Less acidic than its French counterpart but fresh and easy drinking nonetheless! Great alternative to an uncharacteristic Pinot Grigio. — 9 years ago
hint of licorice, green pepper, herbacious aromas. Med body, high acidity, med plus finish, med alcohol range. Fresh strawberry, under ripe green apple... balanced between sugar, acid. Good apprentif, easy drinking wine...(probably good for wedding or valentine :) — 10 years ago

Welcome to Easter weekend and lets start the weekend off right with a wonderful Bordeaux Blend from Andrew Will, the 2011 Champoux Vinyard continues to impress. This is a right bank blend of 54% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The nose is beautifully expressive with notes of blackberry, black cherry, black currants, tobacco, licorice, chocolate, herbal notes, spice, violets and fresh tilled soil.
On the palate there is well balanced notes of black cherry, blackberry, black currant, green bell pepper that I love oh so much, chocolate, graphite shavings, and floral notes.
This is a full bodied wine with medium + acidity and firm outstanding gripping tannins. This wine does not disappoint.
Everyone have a great Easter weekend and please take thing easy, be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 8 years ago
Fresh and fruity with tropical fruits - passion fruit, pineapple, kiwi. Underlying touch of green apple ups the acidity to make it an easy drinking wine for high-summer. — 9 years ago
Smooth, easy drinking bubbles. Just right on the fresh green apple fruit, acid and slight sweetness. Brut level. Well done Aussie sparkling wine. — 10 years ago
Amazing ros'e from Basque region of Spain. Very fresh and herbarious, green pepper, white pepper, white pepper, and green apple. Light bodied, and light sugar content. Very easy to drink — 10 years ago
Peachy, green (yes, gruner), salty, fresh, yum. Accidentally drank a whole glass just in the time it took me to pick something to watch. (Admittedly, I was taking a long time to pick something. But it’s hella easy to drink is what I’m trying to say.) — 7 years ago
This Rioja white wine is made from 50% Viura grapes, 35% Tempranillo Blanco and 15% Maturana Blanca, and they claim it's the first wine in the world made from those varieties. The grapes were grown in estate vineyards located “in different Rioja terroirs.” The Vivanco Rioja Viura Blend 2016 is pale in the glass and offers up a nose of citrus and wet rock minerals. It's a gentle set of aromas, and the palate follows suit, with easy acidity - still quite fresh, though - and flavors of lemon pie with a spray of green apples. It should pair very well with white fish, risotto or pasta with butter and pepper. — 8 years ago
I am loving what great winemakers did in '13. What a stunning nose of lemon candy, minerals, some funk and so clean. Lovely palate. Ripe and juicy with being pristinely clean and so pure It reminds me of a mountain stream. I love these wines. Balanced and fresh with nice easy going acids and great amplitude and volume on the palate. Lovely flesh and dominant mineral tones. Green apple and pear skin abound. — 9 years ago
It needed an hour decant to come around and blow off the barnyard funk. After that, elegance, ruby blue and red soft fruits; blueberries, bright cherries, fresh juicy strawberries, some cooked green bell early on that gradually faded, steeped tea, soft saddlewood & minerality, a touch of easy wet black earth, pebbles. The 88 has all the classic characteristics and elegant finish one comes to expect from Pichon Lalande. Not their best but pretty darn good on Christmas Eve into Christmas. Merry Christmas all!!! — 10 years ago
